COVID Vaccination Exemption Certificates: GPs and their teams cannot issue vaccination exemption certificates. Further information on the vaccination exemption certificates scheme can be found on the Scottish Government and NHS Inform websites or alternatively you can call the COVID status helpline on 0808 196 8565.

Staff Training - The surgery will be CLOSED every Tuesday between 12.30 - 13.30 for staff training. For urgent matters, there will still be a telephone service.

Test Results

When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. Please bear this in mind and only call the surgery after sufficient time has elapsed.

It is your responsibility to check them and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor.  If you are under investigation by the hospital, any tests will be reported by the requesting consultant. You will either receive a follow up appointment at the hospital or the consultant may write a report of your results to pass on to your GP (This may take a number of weeks).

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
